Step one: Assemble the base by placing the gas lift onto the wooden star base.

Step two: Place the tier cup on top of the gas lift and the star base.

Step three: Put together the armrests using two of the screws.

Step four: The rest of the screws are already installed into the bottom of the seat. Remove the three screws on each side which are there for securing the armrests. Screw in the armrests and use two of the washers on the screws that are more towards the inside of the chair. It should be the screws that are by themselves in the triangle.

Step five: Screw the seat plate onto the center of the bottom of the chair with washers between the plate and the screws. The tension knob should be towards the front of the chair.

Step six: Remove the four screws designated for the back seat. Screw the back piece on and you may use the remaining washers. The back cushion is a little full and it will take a little bit of pushing to get the plate to push into place.

Step seven: The final step is to place the chair onto the base.
